I have not been hiding!

It has been way too long to make a post.  I have been busy hanging out with my husband while he is home.  But he has once again left.  We had a great trip to Michigain to pack up my mother in laws household and move it to Florida .  While there Dennis treated me to a trip to Mackinac Isand one of my favorite places.  We rented bikes, a horse and carriage and of course had a great meal.  Thanks babe I love you

A little girls wish!

As a child I always wanted the little jewerly music box that when opened the little ballarina would pop up and turn to the music. While at To Every Nation Thrift Store I found what as a child I never had but I do now. It needs some cleaning and I may make some changes, maybe.

Robots love music!

My sisters have been creating the most wonderful stamps using speedo carving kits and making prints.   My daughter Kristen made a great one for me a few years back, it has been framed and hanging in my studio.  Time to take it down and make some more prints.  Check out my sister Gail's prints @ onefinepencil.blogspot.com and Meri's @ meriwinkle.blogspot.com

Little Black Singer

This little black singer would sit on my dinning room table my whole childhood. I would watch my sister create wonderful things with it. Great stuff animals, clothing, dolls, etc... My brother even got into the act making a frostline snow jacket one year. I also remember my father using it to make a canvas top for our pop up camper. I still remember the days I would plead my sister for left over fabric to create with. Of course she spent more time then she would care to fix the messes I would create with the thread. It still remains the best machine I have and many more great creative creations to come.

Beach Day

I am so enjoying my visit with my sister Gail. We spent the day at the local thrift stores, then on to a great lunch, and then a walk and treasure hunt on the beach. The tide brought in these beautiful jelly fish, the colors were amazing.

My shadow goes in and out with me.
