Been some time since I have been in the studio doing any sewing. I love these peasant type patterns. Easy to make and extremely comfortable to wear. 
I I have always wanted a tree skirt but never found one I loved until today. I found this hand sitched on at the thrift store next to mine. I will post a photo once it is on the tree.
This was a fun piece to make. I used a vintage table cloth and linens. I had to make my own bias tape and I am pretty happy with the results.
who loves stuffed animals. Never sewed no problem they will give you hundreds of easy fun ideas. I am addicted.
I haven't sewed anything with a pattern in a long time and now I remember why. They are a pain in the ass at times. But I survived and I think I made the necessary changes to it I will use it in the future again. The pockets are my favorite part. I used recycled fabric from my daughters old shirt.
A sweet young lady bought a purse I made for the thrift store a couple months ago and requested another for her sweet friend's birthday. I hope she likes it. This one is made out of almost all recycled fabrics and scraps. 
My sister Gail inspired me to use my scrap fabric to make patch work pieces. It is just plain fun, no thought just sew. The bag went to the thrift store I volunteer at, hopefully it will make someone happy.
I love the colors of these pillows. This great fabric came into the thrift store and just knew I had to cover pillow with it. But enough pillows. Something new tommorrow.
Someone donated these Christmas pillows which were totally outdated and would most likely not sell. I covered them in A Jay Yang designed fabric. I think they will leave the thrift store fairly quick. 
My daughther recently moved into her first apt. and wanted some throw pillows for her living room. We used old throw pillow forms and covered with an old shower curtain and t-shirt from thrift store. Made a nice addition to her living room.
