The love of beads.

What a sweet shell.  I was so worried about drilling a hole in it, but it worked out great.  The great orange and black beads in the bottom one are beans.  I found most of these beads from the old broken jewelry.

Sewing Time

Been some time since I have been in the studio doing any sewing.  I love these peasant type patterns.  Easy to make and extremely comfortable to wear.

This horrible cat painting has been starring at me for too long at the thrift store.  First thing was to paint it over in black.  What came next just happened.  I am very happy with it.  The photos did not come out too well.  It is hard to get a great photo once I wax it.

If I had a pet elephant

|I always find myself pulling out all my paper, paints, crayons and every other multimedia item when I am stresses out.  It usually ends with a childhood wish.  If I had a pet elephant.  I feel better so it definitely worked.  The grass came from a wonderful page my daughter Kendra started.

Christmas Tree Skirt

I I have always wanted a tree skirt but never found one I loved until today.  I found this hand sitched on at the thrift store next to mine.  I will post a photo once it is on the tree.

Vintage quilt becomes a dress

I have held onto this hand quilted quilt for some time. I used an old tea towel for the pocket.

I promise it will put a smile on your face.

Found him in  a box full of Christmas stuff at To Every Nation Thrift store was not going home without him.

The apron was made using a vintage tea towel and table cloth.
