All done, I am very happy with it. i waxed over the whole piece. i love wax. it gives it a great look, I polished it with a paper towel after the wax dried, which gave it a little shine .

beginnings

I felt inspired to make a messenger bag out of one of the pieces I made. I used recycled shower curtain for the main fabric and used recycled ribbon as a border. The other two remaining pieces I am going to make into pillow cases.

I added quilt backing and fabric and machine quilted over the top, what next I do not know yet, maybe handbags. We will see.

An empty ice cream container put to use. Will fill with yummy Easter candy. Bird made from Celluclay, it is a instant paper mache just add water and form. Feels just like clay.
