Adirondack Mt. book

My father recently had our family photos transfered from slides to photos so I felt inspired to create a book. It is a work in progress. The front page is full of all things that bring home back to me. I grew up in the house in the photo.

The start of my shared art experience.

FOUND ART

Found this great site on Blogger. Found Artists' Bulletin Board. Some of you may have heard of it. So I am challenging everyone to make a small piece of art. Take a photo of your piece and where you have left it in the communitty, place your blog info. on it and ask them to leave a post when found. Let's see who gets a response first. Deadline: The first piece of art must be left in your community by Friday.

The worry doll is a super example.

Bird Challange

My sister Gail hooked me up with a great doll site, Cloth, Clay dolls. Of course I decided the last minute to do the bird challenge on the site. I am quite happy with him. He is wool felt and beak is clay paper. I will next time start much sooner so I have more time to challenge myself.
